Ahsoka Tano Leaving The Order And Gone With A Trace

The last time we saw Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars series was the The Wrong Jedi episode in Season 5 of The Clone Wars. Fans of the show didn’t want to see her go. When my daughters saw that episode they wanted to know more about her and where she went after leaving the Jedi Order. Sure we go to see her in Star Wars Rebels, but a lot of time passed since then. 

Where Did Ahsoka Go?

After leaving the Jedi Order, Ahsoka Tano finds herself in the underworld of Coruscant where she befriends aspiring pilot Trace Martez. Enlisted by Trace’s sister Rafa to help build dangerous droids, Ahsoka opts to keep her Jedi past a secret in Gone With a Trace. 

We finally get to see what Ahsoka was doing after she left the Jedi Temple. Ahoska always had a knack of looking to help those in need. She gets thrown into the depths of Coruscant where she lands into a sticky situation. She first meets Trace Martez and it starts out where Trace is the one helping Ahsoka. Those roles quickly become reversed during this episode. 

A Hero Returns 

With so many emotions and questions racing through her mind, Ahsoka’s heart is on her sleeve. Trace sees that Tano is in pain and even asks her about it. Ahsoka dismisses those questions and looks to work on fixing things to take her mind off of her troubles. Sounds like something she learned from her Jedi Master, Anakin Skywalker. 

I feel that in this episode and in others to come in this season we will see how Ahsoka works things out that is very different from the Jedi Order. This acts like a prequel to Star Wars Rebels where she helps the likes of Ezra, Sabine, Kanan, Hera and Zeb. She has the need to help others, but from a distance. 

Ashley Eckstein hits this performance out the park as always voicing Ahsoka. Dave Filoni and The Clone Wars crew continue with fantastic storytelling with beautiful animation. There are times where we get to see Ahsoka’s different expressions that we all have grown to love since the first time we met her. I know we will see more of Ahoska. I wonder if she will cross paths with any Jedi or Clones in this season. Only time will tell.
