Cleaning Day Has Become Easier Because Of A Whisker 

Remember when Garfield would mutter the phrase, “I hate Mondays.” Well, I have a similar phrase, but just replace Monday with Tuesday. Why Tuesdays you may ask? Well, Tuesday is cleaning day. With my family’s busy schedule I have found that cleaning day during the week is better for us. I am a task oriented person, but even though I like checking things off the list, I can still hate cleaning day. Thankfully, Whisker is now making my life easier thanks to their Litter-Robot.

On cleaning day, one of the things that I tackle is taking care of the litter box. Part of that process is replacing the old litter for new litter. It is a multi-step process. I first have to get the right type of bags to dump out the old litter. After that I have to clean the entire litter box to get out the stains and smells from the previous week. There is a dusting of grey clay debris around the litter box and on the sides of the box. I have to use a broom to get out all the tiny litter pieces that were flung to different parts of the bathroom. 

Next, I use cleaning spray to fully clean the litter box. I dry the box so I can add new litter to the box. As you can tell it is not the best part of cleaning day. To be fair I am still trying to find the best part of said day. Once I figure it out, I will let you know. I do this every Tuesday and it is something that I dread every week. I know how Sisyphus feels as he would roll a rock endlessly up a hill. Whenever the rock reached the top, it rolled right back down again. Instead of one rock, it was a bunch of litter pebbles that I would have to take care of on Tuesdays. Sounds fun right?
