This episode of The Clone Wars has to be the one a lot of Clone Wars fans were really excited to see. There were characters from past seasons and Star Wars movies. The Martez and Ahsoka story arc has been very interesting and this episode to me is one of the best from this season.
Look Who Is Back Together Again
Believing they are better without her, Ahsoka makes a deal to free the Martez sisters and soon attempts her own escape, but she is left reeling from the discovery of the true mastermind behind the Pyke spice operation in Together Again. Last episode we got to see some of the Mandalorians espiacally Bo-Katan Kryze. Bo-Katan is a Mandalorian, who is the leader of the Nite Owls and was a lieutenant in Death Watch, which is a terrorist group. She and her fellow Mandalorians spotted Ahsoka when she and the Martez sisters were fleeing from the Pykes.
In this episode we get to see more of Bo-Katan’s interaction as well as a certain Dathomirian Zabrak we all know and love. In past episodes I was commenting on how Ahsoka would be going back and forth with her Jedi past and her search for a new identity. This episode brings her past right back into the present.
They Finally Found Out
The Martez sisters found out that Ahsoka is a Jedi. Or was a Jedi. Ahsoka is just as confused on the situation as them. I was wondering how they would take the news about Ahsoka being a Jedi since they blame the Jedi for the death of their parents. Their reaction and dare I say encouragement was very welcoming. I love that fact that they gave the reasons why they appreciated what Ahsoka did for them as well as her view on what Jedi should be.
This season has been filled with action, strong characters and intriguing storylines. I have said this before it will be hard to say goodbye to this series. To see my other reviews on past episodes click here.
