This week for the These Dads Are Doing It Right series I want to share with you some amazing dad and kid duos in the comic book industry. These duos have make their mark in the world of comic books. Dad And Kid Duos In The Comic Book Industry  

John Romita Sr. & John Romita Jr.

John Romita Sr. and John Romita Jr. are one of the most famous legacy duos at Marvel Comics. The dad, John Romita Sr. is known for his definitive run on The Amazing Spider-Man. In addition, his son, became one of the most prolific artists in the industry, working on nearly every major character. Jr. is known for his work on Daredevil with Frank Miller, Iron ManX-MenThor, and multiple runs on Amazing Spider-Man, just like his dad. 

The Kubert Family

Joe Kubert was a legendary artist and founder of The Kubert School. Joe was a comic book artist, editor, and educator, best known for his work on DC Comics characters such as Sgt. Rock and Hawkman. His sons, Andy and Adam Kubert, are both superstar artists who have worked on flagship titles like Batman and X-Men. Katie Kubert, who is Joe’s granddaughter, is an editor at DC Comics. 

Calvin & Nile Hennick

Calvin and Nile Hennick are a father-son creative duo from Milton, Massachusetts, widely recognized for their collaboration on comic books and graphic novels. The dad and son duo created Bad Cop vs. Good Cop. It is an action-comedy graphic novel series. Nile is the illustrator, while Calvin works on the stories for the series. 

Led & Jake Bradshaw  

Led Bradshaw and his son, Jake have created a very cool superhero universe. The Adventures of Jake Jetpulse comic book is a series of learning books for autistic children that was written from the perspective of an autistic child. Jake Jetpulse autism superhero books contain fun reading comprehension stories and sensory activities for autistic children. Check out the book series here.
