A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Mickey Mouse Ears collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Simpsons Figures Collection
This week’s collector is from Trevor. Trevor shares his Simpsons Figures collection.
I started watching The Simpsons when I was in 7th grade. When I was a kid I thought Bart Simpson was hilarious. I still do. The Halloween episodes are my favorite. My friends and I quote the show all the time. It is greatwhen different celebrities voice characters on the show. I came across a the figures in a thrift store and picked a bunch of them. Besides that I bought a few online at different stores as well. I don’t know how many more I am going to get, but I might need to purchase another Bart Simpson figure, since my son always takes him and puts it in his room.
Thanks for sharing your collection Trevor. My family and I are big fans of The Simpsons. Your collection is really cool.
