A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Nintendo 64 game collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Nintendo 64 Game Collection
This week’s collector is from Ted. He is sharing his Nintendo 64 game collection.
My first gaming unit was the Nintendo 64. I loved all the fan favorites like Cruisin’, Mario Kart, Goldeneye and NBA Jam. Doom 64 and Sub-Zero were memorable games as well. My friends and I would play a ton of sports games like Blitz, NASCAR, NBA Courtside and NFL QB Club. It seemed like the N64 had all the games for any type of game genre you were into playing. I recently helped my parents move out of their house and I came across my stuff. I brought the stuff home including my N64 and games. My kids are so pumped! I can’t wait to school them.
Thanks for sharing your story, Ted. Those were such fun days of gaming!
Whatcha Got?
It can be comic books, bottle caps, records, helmets or whatever you are into! I want to see what your passion is and why you started up that collection. For me, I believe that in each collection lies a better story. I want to share your story! Feel free to reach out to me and share your collection. In addition, if you enjoyed this post check out another Collector of the Week article.
