Dad Creates Online Class For New Dads On How To Tell Dad Jokes Correctly

Jeff Rice recently heard that his friend, Larry is becoming a dad. Jeff has two kids and couldn’t wait to share all of his corny dad jokes with Larry. As they were hanging out, Jeff was treating it like an open mic night as he kept dishing out a bunch of dad jokes. Larry for the most part didn’t hear any of them. In addition, Larry didn’t get the timing down of how to tell a dad joke perfectly. Jeff was stunned. He knew he needed to help out Larry and other dads to be on how to tell a dad joke correctly.

Dad Jokes For All My Men

Jeff looked online to see if there were any classes or books on dad joke etiquette. Yes, there were plenty of books on dad jokes, but there weren’t any books on how to properly tell dad jokes. He reached out to a few colleges about how to conduct a class online correctly. Some of those colleges offered a ton of help. Other colleges were quick to hang up the phone once they found out what Jeff was looking to do. Overall, Jeff was happy to not only have received some help, but some of the people he talked to wanted to join the class to brush up on their comedic timing.

Dad Joke University Is A Hit

Jeff put together a syllabus that would be a two week online class. His friend, Larry, was the first to register. Once word got around, there were twenty “dads to be” who signed up for his class. Not only was his first class a hit, Jeff received emails asking him to set up another class. He was so happy to hear this and didn’t hesitate to set up a few online sessions throughout the year. Jeff knew he was helping out dads in a way parenting books couldn’t ever reach dads. He found his purpose and was happy to start this journey.
