Actor, musician and dad, Ahmed Best sits down with me to chat about fatherhood, how his son, Marley saved his life and what he learned from his dad that he looks to instill into his son. Best also talks to me about his new Star Wars series called, Jedi Temple Challenge, becoming Jedi Master Kelleran Beq. We also chat about his time working with George Lucas, the role of Jar Jar Binks and how he and Liam Neeson were looking to do a buddy cop movie.We finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five.

Ahmed Best is an actor, voice actor, and musician. Ahmed Best, known to many fans as Jar Jar Binks from the Star Wars prequels, hosts the show, Jedi Temple Challenge as a new Jedi Master Kelleran Beq. Best guides players through three rounds of trials as they vie to become Jedi Knights and wield the iconic symbol of the guardians of peace and justice, the lightsaber. Accompanying Best is Mary Holland (Veep, Upright Citizens Brigade) who voices the wise-cracking protocol droid companion AD-3, and Sam Witwer, who gives a unique voice to the dark side of the Force. He also created, wrote, directed and produced his own TV show called This Can’t Be My Life.
Ahmed and his wife, Raquel have one son, Marley.
