I had a great conversation with Bill Fagerbakke about his new show on Nickelodeon called The Patrick Star Show. We talk about the staying power of SpongeBob SquarePants and how much joy Bill brings to people by playing Patrick. Bill and I also talk about fatherhood and how he really enjoys being a dad. We chat about some of the life lessons his daughters have taught him.

The Patrick Star Show is the second spinoff of the number-one animated series SpongeBob SquarePants and follows a younger Patrick living at home with his family, where he hosts his own variety show for the neighborhood from his television-turned-bedroom. In the premiere episode, “Late for Breakfast,” Patrick presents a show about food after missing out on a hearty breakfast. Then in “Bummer Jobs,” Patrick and SpongeBob experience the wonders of the workforce. Make sure you check out The Patrick Star Show on Nickelodeon starting Friday July 9th at 7 pm EST.
