A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. We talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, an Iron Man comic book collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Iron Man Comic Book Collection
This week’s collector is from Matthew. Matthew started showing his kids some of the Marvel movies and then broke out his Iron Man comic book collection.
My kids got to the age where I think they could handle the Marvel movies. We started with Iron Man. After a few of the movies I wanted to share my Iron Man comic book collection with my sons. They both gave a collective, “Wow!” when I opened up my comic book box. They took to those books quicker than Chitauri looking to invade NYC. It made my heart very happy to see them reading comic books I read when I was around their age.
