A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Larry Johnson card collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Larry Johnson Card Collection
This week’s collector is from the Dan Perry. He is sharing his Larry Johnson card collection.
Here is my Larry Johnson card collection. My good friend, Luke, in middle school and I were fans of the Charlotte Hornets. He was an Alonzo Mourning fan and I as you can tell was a Larry Johnson fan. He and I would trade each other cards. Whenever I got a Zo card I would trade for any Larry Johnson cards. We had jerseys of them which we would play in anytime we were outside playing basketball in the neighborhood. Those were the days! Now, my kids started getting into cards. I dusted off my collection and showed my kids that dad was just like them when I was their age. The really enjoyed looking at cards from the 90s. Thank you for letting me share my story.
Thanks for sharing your story, Dan. I enjoyed your story and collection.

Whatcha Got?
It can be comic books, bottle caps, records, helmets or whatever you are into! I want to see what your passion is and why you started up that collection. For me, I believe that in each collection lies a better story. I want to share your story! Feel free to reach out to me and share your collection. In addition, if you enjoyed this post check out another Collector of the Week article.
