About Fritz Coleman
A Southern California broadcasting icon, Fritz Coleman is well known for his sense of humor and extensive knowledge of weather. He joined NBC4 in 1982 as the weekend weather caster and moved to weekdays in 1984. Coleman was part of the longest-running evening news team along with legendary journalists Chuck Henry and Colleen Williams and Sports Anchor Fred Roggin. After retiring from NBC he and Louise Palanker host the Media Path Podcast. While many of the subjects will be familiar to Baby Boomers and Gen X’ers, the spirit of inquisitiveness, curiosity, and sharing that Fritz and Louise bring to each episode will ring familiar to newer generations who may be hearing about these subjects, people, and stories for the first time.
