Let Them Have Their Games And Play Them Too

When I was a kid, my screen time consisted of playing video games on the Sega Genesis on a 20 inch color TV. There were no ads. I didn’t play with people online. In addition, there were no screen limits put on the gaming console by my parents. I was not playing video games all the time, but I did spend a decent amount of time in front of that TV.

Fast forward to today where parents and kids are trying to navigate a digital space that seems like the wild west. Most parents want their kids to learn how to embrace technology in a healthy manner. Kids just want to play games that are fun and give them the ability to play with friends online. How do we strike a good balance as parents where we feel comfortable with what our kids are doing online? This is where Kinjo comes into play.

When Fun And Education Meet Up In Your Kid’s Games

If you ask any parent they would say that they want their kids to play games that are safe, educational and of course fun. In today’s world it is tough to find that sweet space where all of those ingredients come together. There have been many articles where it has been reported that online games can be a dangerous place for kids. So as parents look to navigate this space, Kinjo is the light that can make life a lot easier for parents.

Kinjo is an entirely new kind of learning app that combines parents’ goals and kids’ interests to level up the learning in screen time. Kinjo motivates them to play educator-evaluated games. For parents, Kinjo Plus offers a weekly digest that provides insight into the level of challenge in kids’ gameplay, the time they spend, the friends they play with most, and the skills they are building. With everything on your plate as a parent, Kinjo is there to make life a bit easier.

Kids Earn And Learn

Besides giving your kids a safe space to play, your kids can earn Kinjo Coins if they make smart decisions. Kinjo evaluates games for their level of challenge and skill building and then scores them on a 500-point scale. The higher the rating the more challenge and potential learning. Kinjo motivates kids to play games with higher challenges and more learning through a rewards system, which is called Kinjo Coins. This is a great mantra to teach your kids. If they look to take the road that is the best for them in life, eventually they will get rewarded.

In this tech driven world, your kids will be on devices. Kinjo gives your kids the opportunity to have fun and learn along the way. In addition, Kinjo gives parents the peace of mind when their kids go on a device. If you have kids who love playing games like Roblox, Kinjo is a must have in your home. Please note: I teamed up with Kinjo with this post and I got paid for this post, but my thoughts are my own.

  2. I think this is a good concept. We need to teach our kids right versus wrong, but it ultimately comes down to them. They have to make the choices. A few years ago my wife and I taught our kids about the value of dollar. After they kept asking for us to buy things. We gave them chores around the house and assigned values for each chore. When we paid them and went to the store they actually waited to buy something and save for something they really wanted. It is similar to what Kinjo is doing. Thanks for making us aware of their service.
