This week’s for the Dads Doing It Right series I want to highlight some dads who looking to put their fatherhood journey in focus. These dads explore fatherhood, current events, and other interests in the form of articles, videos and podcasts. From new dads to single dads these guys are looking to help other dads out there. Fatherhood Unbroken empowers, encourages, and equips single fathers so they can become the fathers their children deserve. They also encourage men to be the best they can be. In addition, to them being a father is a high honor, a tremendous privilege, and a sacred duty, regardless of the circumstances surrounding how you became a single father. As men and fathers, the feel dads are called to guide, prepare, protect, and provide for their children, through intentional love and leadership. Steve Mistovich – Hall of Fame Fatherhood
Steve Mistovich is a father of a 22-year-old man and 6-year-year-old boy. He is married to Mikayla for 9 years. I started Hall of Fame Fatherhood because he struggled to set the best example for his children and be the leader his family deserves. His site and podcast talks about letting his emotions run is life, giving in to self-doubt and depression. So this is him sharing his story and struggle. Therefore he shares his wins and my losses. In addition he likes sharing how other like-minded Fathers are striving every day to reach the Fatherhood Hall of Fame. Check out his site here.
Anthony Ray – Dad, Can We Talk?
Anthony Ray has a podcast called Dad, Can We Talk? This podcasts speaks to all things fatherhood from a black father’s perspective. They discuss a variety of topics ranging from education to mass incarceration. The goal is to get dads to open up and be honest about the ups and downs of fatherhood and manhood. “Dad, Can We Talk?” is by dads, and for dads! Check out the podcast here.
Chris Marsh – Documenting Dad
Chris Marsh stated up an Instagram account to share his fatherhood journey. He recently became a dad. Chris is looking to talk about all the emotions and feelings he and his family are experiencing.
