These Dads Are Doing It Right – Part 206 – Great Dads In Animation   

This week for the These Dads Are Doing It Right series I am highlight dads in animation. Whether they are dads in animated movies or shows these dads are great examples of fantastic dads. Bob Parr – An Incredible Dad In Animation 

Balance your family and your career is tough. When you are a super-hero it is even tougher. Bob Parr was looking to make the world safe and help his kids with their math homework. When you have kids start going through puberty, that can rival fighting an arch nemesis. Bob even became the stay at home dad when his wife’s career took off. He is a man of many talents. 

James Rogers – Installing A Great Work Ethic 

We don’t get a lot of screen time with James Rogers, Tiana’s dad in The Princess and the Frog. Before he passes, you see that he loves his family and cooking. Tiana gets a lot of inspiration from her dad. Part of Tiana’s dream of owning her own restaurant as an adult came from her love of cooking with her dad. Besides making a delicious gumbo, James teaching her things along the way. He shares that family, hard work and wishing are necessary ingredients when it comes to living a fulfilling life. 

Bob Belcher – Flipping The Narrative On Fatherhood 

Bob Belcher is a devoted and patient fatherh. No matter what his three kids are up to, Bob is there for them. You might see him getting his legs waxed alongside his daughter Tina. In action you will always see him him support his son, Gene’s passion for music. Plus he can cook the family a great tasting dinner. That is always a positive when it comes to parenting. 

Mufasa – Inspiring The Next Generation  

Another dad on this list that passes at an early age, Mufasa still instills a lot of values into his son, Simba. Mufasa teaches Simba about the “Circle of Life.” Even though they are top of the food chain, Mufasa tells Simba to respect to all living things. That in itself is a great message to share with our kids.
