This week for the These Dads Are Doing It Right series I am putting the spotlight on The Fathering Project. This organization is from Australia. The Fathering Project looks to tackle the problems of child self-abuse, suicide, and substance abuse. Through this initiative, they work closely with schools across Australia. I’m going highlight a few of those members in that group. In addition, if there are any other dads that you think we should check out leave their name and info in the comment section below.
The Fathering Project
Dr. Bruce Robinson
Bruce has since become a leader in the promotion of good fathering. He has written 3 best-selling books on fathering, has given fathering seminars in 7 countries to over 17,000 listeners. In addition, he founded the award-winning Fathering Project whose aim is to improve outcomes for children by inspiring and equipping fathers and father figures to effectively engage with their kids.
Tim Hammond
Former Federal Labor MP Tim Hammond was welcomed onto the Fathering Project Board after stepping away from politics in May 2018 to be more connected with his young family. He helps the organization help men and women realize that a strong father figure will improve their child’s future wellbeing. The look to provide the resources required to help men become better father figures.

Geoff Lloyd has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with an extensive understanding of the sector and demonstrated leadership skills. He has a proven track record in transforming and sustainably growing businesses.
Martin Black
The former Chairman of The Fathering Project’s board for just under three years. The Fathering Project is now thrilled to have Martin as an Ambassador. Martin’s dedication and passion about the importance and value of positive and confident parenting, particularly from dads shines through in everything he does.
