These duos have created some cool shows where you see them working together and creating some very cool things. Cappy & Alex – Building Outside the Lines
The show follows Cappy and Alex as they transform ordinary, pre-existing structures and unconventional materials into magical things. Therefore they take things like shipping containers, retired ski gondolas, and concrete culverts and create one-of-a-kind fantasy retreats and backyard paradises. The series highlights their blended family relationship, showing how Cappie’s building experience blends with Alex’s fresh, creative ideas. Mike Holmes, Michael Holmes Jr. & Sherry Holmes – Holmes Family Rescue
Holmes Family Rescue is a popular HGTV reality home renovation series. It stars professional contractor Mike Holmes alongside his son, Michael Holmes Jr., and daughter, Sherry Holmes. Continuing Mike’s long-standing professional mission to “make it right,” the trio teams up to rescue desperate homeowners who have been left with dangerous, unfinished, or completely botched houses by untrustworthy contractors.
Pancho & Kristyn Patterson – Condemned
Condemned is an HGTV home renovation series starring property investor and rehabber Kristyn Patterson and her builder father, Pancho Patterson. The network officially green-lighted the series in early 2025. The show focuses on saving crumbling, historic homes in Detroit, Michigan that are on the brink of demolition.
Graham & Hollie Laird – Renovation Resort Showdown
Graham and Hollie Laird are the father-daughter designer-contractor duo who won Season 2 of Renovation Resort. Their signature style blended traditional and modern design elements, creating a fresh, warm, and highly rentable atmosphere. Their most notable spaces included a highly praised custom indoor sauna and thoughtful layouts optimized for repeat vacation guests.
