Richard Davidson was nervous about his teenager’s health after seeing a ton of her pictures on social media. It seemed like in every photo her neck was tilted at an awkward angle. After taking a deeper dive into Instagram, he saw teenage boys and girls all do the same thing. What was causing their necks to constantly tilt for mostly every photo that they posed for in pictures? He wondered if his kids were getting enough calcium. He looked into this issue online and couldn’t find any information on this scary trend. So he reached out to a local chiropractor to see if she saw anything strange with teenagers and this neck tilt trend.
Chiropractor Looks To Help Out Nervous Dad
Dr. Deb Jones was first taken aback by the phone call. She thought that there could have been something seriously wrong with his kids. Why did it take social media for Richard to notice his kids’ heads were askew? She asked him to send her some photos so she could look into this issue further before they would come to her office. Richard followed the doctor’s order and sent about fifteen photos. He wasn’t sure how much she needed, so he sent the link to his daughter’s Instagram account. As soon as she saw the photos and looked at the social media account, Dr. Jones had a big smile on her face. She knew there was no need for concern.
Case Closed
Deb called up Richard and immediately said that there is nothing to worry about in terms of his kid’s health. It was just something that kids are doing on social media. She even said that people have been posing that way for years, but it is seen more now because of social media. Deb said the reason that people tilt their head in photos is often related to aesthetics. She continued to say that tilting the head can highlight facial features. Therefore more and more people do that in their photos. Richard thanked Dr. Jones and felt silly for bothering her with this, but she reassured him by saying he is a good dad for caring about his kids.
