Whether it is programs, conventions or guides these foundations are looking to help out families. In addition, if there are any other dads that you think we should check out leave their name and info in the comment section below.
Daddy Saturday Foundation – One Of The Dad Foundations Helping Others
Daddy Saturday Foundation is an international nonprofit organization through Daddy Saturday Kenya. Last year their partner Charles Koech impacted over 15,000 kids. This is done through their bags of rice for schools program, church and community outreach focused on helping the youth of Kenya overcome the burden of fatherlessness. Their goal is to impact 10 million fathers in the next 10 years by equipping fathers with the knowledge and tools to raise good kids who become great adults and putting an end to the fatherlessness epidemic. They envision a future where no child lives without the love and security of an engaged father. Daddy Saturday is not simply a group of unconnected fathers, but is in fact a movement that can change the lives of millions of children and the next generation.
21 Century Dads
21 Century Dads is all about Improving the lives of children. They do this by raising awareness and resources for greater father involvement; and inspiring dads to be present. 21 Century Dads teach dads to be there physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually. They want all children to grow up with a loving, caring and nurturing father and family. In addition, the experience and knowledge that Mentor Fathers possess is invaluable to those just starting their journey as a special needs father. They encourage every father of a special needs child to become a mentor father. It can help create the opportunity to provide hope, inspiration, and courage to those newly touched by the news of having a special needs child.
Global Fatherhood Foundation
Global Fatherhood Foundation works to increase father involvement. They do this by equipping communities and human service organizations with the father engagement training, programs, and resources they need to be father inclusive. Since 2021 they have re-imagined their mission to include diversity to health and vaccine equity, career, and workforce readiness. In addition they help wing rent assistance, and community housing stability. Their target participants are below the 150-200% federal Poverty guideline. They work with both local, and global partners to help out dads and families.
