Some of these dads have had their kids follow their footsteps in the world of sports broadcasting. Some of these dads were on the Art of Fatherhood podcast. Great Dads In Sports Broadcasting

Ian Eagle
A legendary play-by-play announcer known for his sharp wit and energetic calls. Eagle is highly praised for his grounded family life. His commitment to his children is evident through his relationship with his son, Noah Eagle. Noah successfully followed in his footsteps. Therefore, both Ian and Noah are prominent national sports broadcasters.

Kevin Harlan
Kevin Harlan is widely celebrated as one of the best dads in sports broadcasting. Plus that is highlighted by his incredible bond and historic professional collaborations with his daughter, Olivia Harlan Dekker. The legendary play-by-play announcer covers the NFL and March Madness for CBS and Westwood One. In addition he calls the NBA for Amazon Prime Video. He spoke about fatherhood, mentorship, and raising a family while managing a demanding sports schedule on my podcast.

Ernie Johnson Jr.
The long-time host of Inside the NBA is widely respected across the industry. Johnson is a deeply devoted father to his six children, four of whom were adopted. He has been remarkably open about the joys and challenges of his family life, including raising his late son Michael, who battled a terminal neuromuscular disease. Occasionally, Ernie talks about fatherhood on his broadcast.

Steve Levy
Steve Levy, best known for his NHL play-by-play, college football, and SportsCenter anchor roles at ESPN. In additon, he often refers to his three kids as his “VIPs”. While his demanding travel schedule and sports broadcasting duties require a lot of time, he has made family life a priority.
