Collector of The Week – Mortal Kombat Action Figure Collection

A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Mortal Kombat action figure collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.

This Week’s Collector – Mortal Kombat Action Figure Collection

This week’s collector is from Carlos. He is sharing his Mortal Kombat action figure collection.

I am guessing I am around the same age that you are, Art. Like you I am a Gen-Xer. I loved playing fighting games at the arcade. There was Street Fighter, Tekken and of course Mortal Kombat. In the early 90s Hasbro made GI Joe style MK figures. I got a few each. Some to open up and others to keep in the boxes. I found your site from your podcast and saw this feature you have on your site. Reading over your articles I knew you would appreciate these figs. Thanks for letting me share this with your readers.

Thanks for sharing your story, Carlos. I am a big fan of your story and Mortal Kombat.

Whatcha Got?

It can be comic books, bottle caps, records, helmets or whatever you are into! I want to see what your passion is and why you started up that collection. For me, I believe that in each collection lies a better story. I want to share your story! Feel free to reach out to me and share your collection.  In addition, if you enjoyed this post check out another Collector of the Week article.
