These Dads Are Doing It Right – Part 267 – Fathers Organization Helping Dads 

This week for the These Dads Are Doing It Right series I am highlighting the dads over at the Fathers Organization. This group was founded by Dr. Ken Canfield. He looked to help men grow as fathers who live with purpose. In addition, if there are any other dads that you think we should check out, leave their name and info in the comment section below.

Dr. Ken Canfield 

Drs. Ken and Michelle Watson Canfield are a husband-and-wife team deeply committed to strengthening families and empowering fathers. Ken is the founder of the National Center for Fathering. It was established in 1990. Plus, he has spent over three decades equipping dads to lead with purpose through his writing, speaking, and leadership. He has authored several books, including The 7 Secrets of Effective Fathers and They Call Me Dad, and has been a prominent voice in national fatherhood initiatives.

Micah Canfield

Micah Canfield is Executive Director at Fathers.com, where he leads program development and organizational engagement. A graduate from the University of Kansas, he has founded and led multiple companies in tech and real estate. After a recent successful exit, Micah now focuses on advancing fatherhood programs. In addition he is serving with his wife Teresa as Prayer Ministry Directors at their local church. That is where they support spiritual formation and community life.

George Williams

George looks to provide useful, engaging, innovative, continuously improving training and services. He has almost two decades of experience as a curricula developer, fathering practitioner, master trainer, public speaker and consultant. In addition he is a nationally recognized fathering expert that has inspired thousands across the country with his engaging and passionate presentations and training. Author of numerous fathering articles and curricula including the Kansas HOPE Mentoring, the Kansas Strong Dads, Super Kids, Quenching the Father-Thirst and a contributing author to Why Fathers Count.

Brock Griffin 

Brock is the Executive Editor and a lead writer for Fathers.com, where he contributes to books, online articles, and weekly email content that equips and encourages dads. He has been with the organization since 1991 and has co-authored It’s Great Being a Dad, along with collaborating on numerous other books, articles, and national broadcasts focused on fatherhood. Therefore he has a passion for strengthening families through clear, practical writing. In addition, Brock plays a key role in shaping the voice and message of Fathers.com. He and his wife Tara have been married for over 30 years and live in the Kansas City area, where they have raised their three children.
