A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Highlights magazine collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Highlights Magazine Collection
This week’s collector is from the Jones Family. They are sharing their Highlights magazine collection.
Our family loves to read. My wife and I really wanted pass down our passion for reading with our three kids. There are days were after we have dinner we go to our library to pick up some new books. I like mysteries. My wife loves biographies and sci-fi. My kids will read anything about dinosaurs, magic and anything about space and the planets. We got our kids a Highlights subscription. We have a few of them all around the house, but here is a few issues I was able to put together. My wife and I love when a new magazine arrives because our kids get so excited. I enjoy seeing other people’s favorite things. So, I felt like I you would like our family’s story and the collection.
