Carlos Alazraqui Talks Fatherhood, Acting and Advice He Gave His Daughter As A Voice Actor

Carlos Alazraqui sits down with me to chat about fatherhood and acting. He shares the advice he gives one of his daughters who is a voice actor. We talk about the many great projects he has worked on like Reno 911 and Rocko’s Modern Life. Carlos shares his creative process when it comes to acting and voice acting. We also talk about how technology can be both good and bad for your children and how we navigate tech with our family. We finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five. 

About Carlos Alazraqui 

Carlos Alazraqui is thrilled to be back on QUIBI as Deputy James Garcia on the hit show Reno 911. A man of many voices, this past year, Netflix premiered Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling, which is an animated special starring Carlos as the lead character based on the Nickelodeon series Rocko’s Modern Life. He also just premiered his own feature-length live-action horror/comedy movie Witness Infection as co-writer, producer, and onscreen role of Mr. Serrelli. Carlos also won the prestigious Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Voice Acting in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production for The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show. He’s been a standup comic for over 25 years, a well-known television/film actor and one of LA’s top voiceover actors with hundreds of credits to his name.
