Collector of The Week – 1989 Batman Toy Collection

A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a 1989 Batman toy collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.

This Week’s Collector – 1989 Batman Toy Collection

This week’s collector is from Rob. He got inspired to share his collection as Michael Keaton reprises his role of Batman in the Flash movie.

Batman was and still is my favorite superhero. When I was a kid I had everything Batman. I had a favorite Batman shirt. My bedroom looked like Warner Bros. decorated it. I could go on and on about my Batman fandom, but I wanted to share my 1989 Batman toy collection. Seeing the new Flash movie with Michael Keaton made me go into the attic and break out my old toys. I enjoy reading your weekly collector column and wanted to submit my collection.

Thanks for sharing your collection Rob. That collection takes me back to when I was a kid!

Whatcha Got?

It can be comic books, bottle caps, records, helmets or whatever you are into! I want to see what your passion is and why you started up that collection. For me, I believe that in each collection lies a better story. I want to share your story! Feel free to reach out to me and share your collection.  In addition, if you enjoyed this post check out another Collector of the Week article.
