A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Greg Maddux card collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Greg Maddux Card Collection
This week’s collector is from Lewis. He is sharing his Greg Maddux card collection.
My dad was a high school baseball coach. He shared the love of the game with me. I became a Braves fan when I saw Greg Maddux pitch. I started collecting baseball cards in the 90s. My friends and I would trade. I was always looking for Maddux cards. Here is part of my collection. My kids were fascinated to see what the cards looked like when I was their age. They collect a few cards from time to time. Looks like I passed on a tradition as well.
