Collector of The Week – Hawkman Comic Book Collection 

A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Hawkman comic book collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.

This Week’s Collector – Hawkman Comic Book Collection

This week’s collector is from Roger. He is sharing his Hawkman comic book collection. 

I know when people think of superheroes they immediately go to Spider-man, Batman or Superman. While I enjoy the mainstream supers, I became a fan of Hawkman when I got some free comic books from my neighbor. He gave me a lot of DC comics, but the one that I wanted to learn more about was Hawkman. My parents would take me to the comic book store and I would always find any comic book that featured him.
