A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Mini Baseball Helmet collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Mini Baseball Helmet Collection
This week’s collector is from Chris and his kids and their baseball stadium tour. They collected the mini baseball helmets sold at stadiums.
My kids and I would love to visit baseball parks together. Over the past few summers when they were on school break, we would visit a few baseball stadiums together each year. We would try to plan a trip to an area that had a few ballparks near each other. We did collect most of the mini helmets that is used for ice cream at the stadiums. There were some parks where we had friends and family members mail us one to a stadium we weren’t able to go to. My kids and I had been to most of them, but we are grateful for our friends and family helping us out to complete the collection.
Thanks for sharing your collection Chris. Love how you guys made that collection into a way to remember your different trips.
Whatcha Got?
It can be comic books, bottle caps, records, helmets or whatever you are into! I want to see what your passion is and why you started up that collection.
