A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Smurf collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Smurfs Figurine Collection
This week’s collector is from Jerry. He wanted to share his Smurfs figurine collection.
Hey Art, I know you are big fan of anything from the 80s. I grew up in that decade too. For me I was a big Smurf fan. I used to watch that cartoon all the time. If you want to know how much of a fan I was, I used to eat Smurfberry Crunch cereal while watching the show. My parents and relatives would get me a Smurf figure for holidays and birthdays. Sometimes my grandma would have a few waiting for me when I would visit her in the summer. I dug up this collection after reading a few of yours and other people’s collection you shared. Thanks for letting me share this!
Thanks for sharing your collection Jerry. I used to watch the Smurfs when I was a kid!
Whatcha Got?
It can be comic books, bottle caps, records, helmets or whatever you are into! I want to see what your passion is and why you started up that collection. For me, I believe that in each collection lies a better story. I want to share your story! Feel free to reach out to me and share your collection. In addition, if you enjoyed this post check out another Collector of the Week article.
