Families Can Bond Together Over Video Games

There is the old trope that parents hate when their kids play video games. In some homes, that might be the case, but for me and my family we really enjoy playing video games together. From Mario Kart to Nintendo Switch Sports we have a blast seeing who can get the best score or win first place in Mario Kart. In addition, we also talk about the latest video games that are coming out and our favorite games we love to play together. Right now, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the game that is being played a lot in our house. Here is our initial review of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Could The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Be One Of The Top Video Games Of The Year

Even though we are only half way through the year, my family and I are guessing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be the best game of the year. My daughters enjoy how Tears of the Kingdom is more of an open world than it’s predecessor, Breath of the Wild. We also loved the fact that our progress in Breath of the Wild crossed over into Tears of the Kingdom. We like they we have freedom to be creative and do what you want. I see my daughters think of creative ways to solves puzzles with new abilities. In addition, we like the new powers you get even at the start to make exploring that much better.

The game’s storyline and graphics are so captivating. The controls are smooth and we feel you can immerse yourself in this Zelda universe. These controls are centered around Link’s new abilities, which we all enjoy. The storyline is legit and we can’t wait to see how this story ends. It is one game that will hold your attention and never seems to get old. You and your family will love playing this game.

Another Video Game To Check Out With The Family

We also enjoy the Splatoon game series. The lastest in that series is Splatoon 3. It is won the Best Multiplayer in the 2022 The Game Awards. You can have 4-on-4 ink-slinging battles in this colorful action shooter. As a squid-like Inkling, quickly cover your surroundings (and opponents) in ink with wild weaponry and swim through your own color to sneak and splat. Dive into the fresh fun with family and friends and make waves as a team. Use inky new abilities and weapons to compete, cooperate, or clear up the mystery of the Fuzzy Ooze. Dynamic new moves like the Squid Surge and Squid Roll will help you and your fellow Inklings cover more ground and avoid enemy ink. There is a lot of action and laughter when we play any Splatoon game in our house.

Please note: I teamed up with Nintendo America for a sponsored post, but my thoughts are my own.
