Collector of The Week – Star Wars LEGO Sets Collection

A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Star Wars LEGO Sets collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.

This Week’s Collector – Star Wars LEGO Sets Collection

This week’s collector is from Alex from Freckle. He is sharing his Star Wars LEGO Sets collection.

I’ve been collecting LEGO sets all my life, and LEGO Star Wars has always been a particular favorite. Over the years, I’ve gathered a wide range of sets, from iconic ships to memorable scenes, and my collection includes some truly nostalgic pieces. One of my most prized figures is the original Luke Skywalker from the first Bespin set, a reminder of the early days of LEGO Star Wars. It’s amazing to see how the designs have evolved over the years, but there’s always something special about those classic figures and sets that started it all.

The shelves where I keep my collection are packed with different scenes, vehicles, and mini-figures. They all carefully arranged to show off the variety and detail that makes LEGO so much fun. I’ve got everything from TIE fighters to elaborate dioramas of famous Star Wars moments. Each piece tells a story, and it’s been great to build and collect these sets over the years, watching the collection grow with new additions from different eras of Star Wars.

You might also notice a few anime figures in the display — those belong to my girlfriend. She’s a big fan of anime, and adding her figures to the shelves brings a nice mix of our interests. It’s fun to see how our collections complement each other. For her bright, colorful characters adding a different vibe alongside my Star Wars sets.

Thanks for sharing your story, Alex. I really enjoyed your story and collection.
