This week for the These Dads Are Doing It Right series I want to share some great Halloween costumes ideas. These costumes are fantastic for all types of families. I really appreciate all these families creating some fun for Halloween. Great Halloween Costumes For All Families
Aladdin Costumes
This costume is great for families who have a young child or baby. The parents can dress up as Aladdin and Jasmine. The baby or young child can Abu. This costume theme works so well since Abu is small compared to the other characters. The costumes can be purchased at a store or handmade.
Pac-Man Costumes
If you are looking to go retro this Halloween, might I suggest the Pac-Man family theme. The parents usually go as Pac-Man and Mrs. Pac-Man. The kids are can be the iconic ghosts. For those who are in the know, the ghosts are Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (light blue), and Clyde (orange). In addition, this works for a family with kids of any age. A baby can easily dress up as a small yellow Power Pellet too.
Mario Costumes
The cool part about this idea is that everyone has probably played some type of Mario game. It could be Mario Kart or regular Mario game. Plus no matter the size of the family there are so many characters that you can have for this idea. Like I mentioned earlier, if your family loves Mario Kart you all could create your own kart for the family costume theme.
Wreck It Ralph Costumes
Just like the Mario and Pac-Man costume ideas, the Wreck It Ralph costumes works for family of all ages. Most dads dress up as Wreck-It Ralph. In addition, moms go as Sergeant Calhoun. Daughters dress up as Vanellope von Schweetz. The sons dress up as Fix-It Felix Jr. Plus there are so many fun characters in the movie that your family can go as for Halloween.
