Collector of The Week – X-Force Comic Book Collection

A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, an X-Force comic collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.

This Week’s Collector – X-Force Comic Book Collection

This week’s collector is from Curt. Curt showed his kids his X-Force comic collection after watching a few of the Marvel movies.

After watching some of the Marvel movies with my son and daughter this weekend, I looked in the attic for my comic collection. Growing up in the 90s I loved X-Force comics. Some game Rob Liefeld some crap about his artwork, but I am a fan of it. Plus, Rob was responsible for creating some killer characters in Deadpool and Cable. So if it wasn’t for Rob, Ryan Reynolds would not be able to have his best role of all time.

Thanks for sharing your collection Curt. I grew up in the same era you did and had a few of those myself.

Whatcha Got?

It can be comic books, bottle caps, records, helmets or whatever you are into! I want to see what your passion is and why you started up that collection. For me, I believe that in each collection lies a better story. I want to share your story! Feel free to reach out to me and share your collection.  In addition, if you enjoyed this post check out another Collector of the Week article.
