Jonathan McDaniel Talks Fatherhood, Raven’s Home And Music

Jonathan McDaniel sits down with me to talk about his role as Devon Carter on Disney Channel’s hit series, Raven’s Home and how he really enjoys working with his co-star Raven-Symoné. I also talk with Jonathan about how Raven directed some of the episodes and a great Holiday episode.

Then Jonathan shares his view on fatherhood and what are some of the values he looks to instill into his kids as they grow up.

About Raven’s Home

Made for kids age 6-14 and their families, the hit comedy series Raven’s Home is known for its funny, relatable, heartfelt and broad storylines that reflect the bonds of kids, parents, twin siblings and best friends for life.

A brilliant physical comedienne, actress Raven-Symoné is executive producer and star of Raven’s Home, reprising the role she made famous in 100 episodes of That’s So Raven. She is joined by Anneliese van der Pol, who reprises her role as Chelsea from the iconic sitcom. The comedy duo set the bar high for their cast who showcase their acting and physical comedy chops in storylines that are ultimately about individuality, following your dreams, family and friends. For its first season, the series was nominated for an NAACP Image Award and Raven was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.

Season three new episodes of Raven’s Home are available Friday evenings at 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
