These Dads Are Doing It Right – Part 231 – Forever Dads 

This week for the These Dads Are Doing It Right series I am highlighting the organization called Forever Dads. This organization’s goal is to strengthen communities. ForeverDads designs and manages programming to to encourage, educate, and equip fathers to be present and involved within their family. Meet Some Of Dads From Forever Dads

Ryan Sheppard

Ryan Sheppard is the CEO and Executive Director of ForeverDads. Prior to joining the staff at ForeverDads, he served as the co-chair and volunteer of the Champions of Fatherhood Golf Classic hosted by ForeverDads. Ryan has experience in the corporate world working for many notable names in the Healthcare and Finance industry. Ryan and his wife Amanda are blessed with two sons.

Burt Lemon 

Burl has been with ForeverDads for over 17 years. He started as a volunteer with Muskingum County Fatherhood Coalition. In addition, he published the Fatherhood Resource Guide, and became the Interim Director. In June of 2006, ForeverDads incorporated with Burl as the Executive Director. Burl retired from his full-time position and will now be part-time staff member as Director of Funding Development and Fatherhood Coach. Today, you can find Burl mentoring fathers, coordinating events, planning for the future, and enjoying his grandchildren.

Jay Smith 

Jay Smith is acts as a facilitator for ForeverDads. He is part of the driving force in the community. Jay looks to help and aid for the development of healthy families. He and this organization is transforming the lives of men as fathers to be full partners in raising their children. 

Mike Ross 

Just like Jay Smith, Mike Ross helps ForeverDads acting as a facilitator. He helps run programs that help build strong relationships. Their organization helps with relationship understanding. They feel that it is the heart of their group. They are empowering men to regain their confidence in their rightful place in the life of their children while always respecting themselves in their actions and conduct with the mother of their children.
