Felonius Gru – Despicable Me
Gru has dealt with a lifelong struggle for approval from his neglectful and hostile mother, Marlena. She consistently belittled him and preferred his twin brother, Dru. Gru’s childhood was marked by humiliation, bullying, and failed attempts to impress his mother. This let him down a path to be come a villain. He wanted to outdo his father’s villainous legacy. Yet when he adopted three orphaned girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, he started to focus on more important things. He was influenced by the three of them and became a better person as well as a great dad.

Ping – Kung-Fu Panda
Mr. Ping is a Chinese goose, owner and cook of Dragon Warrior Noodles and Tofu in the Valley of Peace. More importantly he is the adoptive father of Po, the Dragon Warrior. Ping raised Po after finding him in a radish crate. He wanted Po would take over the family noodle business, but eventually becoming proud of his son’s kung fu destiny. A kind, humorous, and supportive figure, Mr. Ping is a loving father with a deep bond with Po and a passion for his noodles.

Master Splinter – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Master Splinter is the wise, elderly, human-sized mutant rat who is the sensei and adoptive father of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He taught them the art of ninjutsu. His backstory includes a tragic past. In addition his backstory it tied with a conflict with the Shredder. This was before became the adoptive father and teacher of the Turtles. Master Splinter trained them to become protectors of the innocent. Besides teaching them those skills, he became a father figure to them.

Howard and Harold McBride – The Loud House
Howard and Harold McBride are the adoptive fathers of Clyde McBride. Howard is an emotional and drama-prone man with red hair. In addition, Harold is a calmer, more level-headed individual with thinning black hair. Both parents are extremely overprotective of Clyde but also loving and supportive, with a shared love for activities like biking, cooking, and antique shopping.
