Mark Eaton – An Amazing Star Tour Birthday Party
Mark Eaton wanted to create a cool birthday party for his daughter. He created a Star Tour Flight Simulator and Mad Tea Party Tea Cup at their home. He did this for his daughter’s birthday party during the pandemic. It’s the original 1987 version of Star Tours featuring the glorious Paul Reubens (Pee-wee Herman) as the rookie pilot Capt. Rex. Back in the fall of 2019 his daughter, Indy requested a Disneyland themed party at our house for her birthday in April. They built a couple of attractions for the party. Check out the video of his work.
Dave Schaeffer – Creating A Bedroom That Is More Than Meets The Eye
Dave Schaeffer wanted to make the ultimate Transformers bed for his son. Schaeffer who, is a high school art teacher and artist made his idea a reality. When Brayden was a baby, Dave made him a jungle-themed room. That bedroom set up had a 3-D tree and a beautiful mural. As Brayden got older, he grew out of the animal theme. When Brayden drew a sketch of his bed inspired by Transformers, his dad knew just what to do. What a job well done Dave!
Adam Boyd – Epic Backyard Playhouse
Adam Boyd is a father of two. He built an amazing backyard playhouse for his daughters. Adam worked on this project in his free time after work and during the weekends. He shared the his creation on Facebook. He wrote, “If love was a building, this is how I would build it. Here is the Playhouse I built for my little Princesses.” His daughters must have been so excited when their dad presented the house to them. Nice work Adam!
Tony DeMatteo – Shiver Me Timbers With This Pirate Ship
Last year Tony DeMatteo won Halloween. He and his family made some headlines in New York by building a 50-foot long, 20-foot tall pirate ship. “I have no background in this, I just do it for fun for my kids, and that’s what makes it so great,” Tony DeMatteo said. “It’s also been a rough year for a lot of people so we decided this would be a perfect opportunity to put a smile on people’s face and just give them a sense of normalcy.” I would say that he went above and beyond with his project.
