Collector of The Week – A Hess Truck Collection 

A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. We talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Hess truck collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.

This Week’s Collector – A Hess Truck Collection 

This week’s collector is from Barry. Barry shares a toy truck collection that is very near and dear to him and his family. 

My parents got me Hess Truck for Christmas when I was a kid. I must have really liked the truck that my parents made it a holiday tradition. My kids came across the collection and asked me about them. I shared the history of getting them when I was their age. They asked me if they could play with them and I was thrilled. It was such a proud moment to pass down something my parents gave me now to my kids.
