This week’s for the Dads Doing It Right series I want to put the spotlight on dads who are sharing their fatherhood journey and love of music. Secret Agent 23 Skidoo  – Mixing Fatherhood & Music 

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo is a Grammy winning, internationally touring, purple velvet tuxedo wearing family funk phenomenon. Combining the positive, primal power of hip hop with the surreal storytelling of science fiction, 23 Skidoo has concocted a potent potion that wows family crowds across the planet. Elliott Rae – Music, Football & Fatherhood 

For Elliott Rae, the first few months of fatherhood were a whirlwind for him. He needed a space to express himself. At the time he didn’t know that so many other dads felt the same way but now he still has to pinch himself when he thinks about what MFF has become. He helped create and awesome community and it has grown a lot. In addition he is proud of the content his crew has created and connecting with amazing people. Aron Harris – Dad Rock Dad

Aron Harris created his blog, Dad Rock Dad. He did this to tell his unabashed story of life as a father, a husband, a son and a friend. From these roles, he’s eager to not only share what he’s learned but also to develop partnerships with those who match his own and make life better. As a content creator who often has a camera in hand and a way with words, Harris isn’t afraid to state his opinions. He does this with eloquently spicy and authentic language. Will Parker – Folk Punk Dad

Will Parker is Folk Punk Dad. Inspired by his dad, Parker began playing music and writing songs when he was eleven years old. Early on, most of what Will played were songs his father wrote in high school. In addition there were Bob Dylan covers, as well as the beginnings of his original material. Highly prolific, Parker has written over a thousand songs throughout the last twenty years. While most of his recent professional focus has been on writing songs for young kids, many of the songs he writes are better suited for an older audience. Parker is now making an effort to share his work which often openly relates his real life experiences and struggles. Check out his site here.
