What’s for dinner? That question can instantly create a panic attack for parents whose kids are picky eaters. We all have been at the dinner table pleading with our kids to eat at least four pieces of green beans. Meals with the family can be a stressful time. We hear “I’m not hungry” or “I don’t like the color of that food.” When it comes to having a meal with your kids you don’t want to have a war. You just want to enjoy a nice meal with your family. I have good news for you. I have a cookbook that has recipes that parents and kids will love to eat. Here are three never seen before recipes in any cookbook that are going to be a hit in your house!
Favorite Recipe In The Cookbook
This recipe is a fan favorite in our house. Kids will love this meal and parents will love how easy it is to make. All you need to do is get the bag of frozen chicken nuggets out of the freezer and pre-heat the oven. Once the oven reaches the correct temperature put the nuggets on the baking pan into the oven. Add some vegetables on the side and your kids will probably eat a few of them. Pro-tip turn the nuggets over halfway as the get warm in the oven. That extra step goes a long way!
Pigs In A Blanket
This recipe requires some food prep. So make sure you have some time to make this meal for your family. Get some crescent rolls from the fridge. Cut up some hot dogs into thirds. Next wrap some of the dough around the hot dogs. Place in the oven and set timer. Cut up some fruits and veggies for a side dish and you have a home run meal!
Breakfast For Dinner
Breakfast for dinner is always a good choice in our home. To make that choice a better crowd pleaser add mini pancakes. All you need to do is take out the mini pancakes from the freezer and heat them up on the stove top in a mini skillet or heat them up in the microwave. Of course add a side of fruit with the mini pancakes. Your kids will love having their favorite breakfast item for dinner. Plus, who needs dessert when your main course has syrup?
