A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Comic Book Card collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Comic Book Card Collection
This week’s collector is from Jeremy. He is sharing his Comic Book Card Collection.
Hey Art, I enjoy this column series. It is such a joy to see what everyone is collecting. The stories are so interesting. I am excited to share my story. My parents were into comic books. My mom was an X-Men fan and my dad loved reading anything Ghost Rider. Their love for comic books rubbed off on me. For me, I enjoy Moon Knight, Spider-Man and X-Men. I was able to get a few old card sets from back in the day and I would look up auction sites to see if I could get more of them. I have a decent collection. My kids like the cards and have been drawing comic book characters too. They even have made up their own characters.
Thanks for sharing your story, Jeremy. I enjoyed your collection and story. I love that you like this series. It means a lot.
Whatcha Got?
It can be comic books, bottle caps, records, helmets or whatever you are into! I want to see what your passion is and why you started up that collection. For me, I believe that in each collection lies a better story. I want to share your story! Feel free to reach out to me and share your collection. In addition, if you enjoyed this post check out another Collector of the Week article.
