A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Comic Book Collection
This week’s collector is from Pat. He is sharing his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book collection.
My kids and I really like to read abut all of the people’s collections you share on your webpage. After a few weeks into looking at all the stories, my kids encouraged me to share something I collect. So since your site is about fatherhood and my kids and I love everything TMNT, I felt like this part of my collection should be shared. The best part of sharing the Turtles with my kids is that their minds were blown away when I said the original comics were in black and white. Plus each of the main characters used many weapons and it wasn’t until the comics where they had a true identity to certain weapons.
