John Driskell Hopkins Talks Fatherhood, Music, His Creative Process & More

John Driskell Hopkins sat down with me to talk about his fatherhood journey. He shares the joy of being a girl dad. He opens up about balancing work and family. Then we chat about his career and how he was able to follow his passion for music by creating a production company. He talks about working with his bandmates in Zac Brown Band and his creative process. We finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five. 

About John Driskell Hopkins 

The musical career of John Driskell Hopkins spans more than 20 years. As a member of several rock bands, Hopkins first rooted himself in the Atlanta music scene in 1995. John is most well-known as a founding member, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter of the GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band. When he’s not touring, Hopkins works out of his Brighter Shade Studios songwriting and producing a growing crop of talent. John continues to perform at music festivals and venues across the country with his original six-piece band, The John Driskell Hopkins Band. John and his wife, Jen are blessed with three daughters.
