This week I was able to go to a galaxy far, far away aboard the Halcyon Starcruiser. Disney and Lucasfilm invited me to check out the new 2-night Galactic Starcruiser experience where you are the hero, villain or smuggler. You board the Halcyon and become part of the Star Wars universe. You can fly solo or bring the family. Cosplay is encouraged. This adventure takes place between Episode VIII The Last Jedi and Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.
After my journey abroad the Halcyon Starcruiser and a stop in Batuu over at Galaxy’s Edge that is located in Hollywood Studios I was able to chat with executives over at Lucasfilm and the Walt Disney Imagineering team about how they created this experience. You can check out the interviews here at the Art of Fatherhood or wherever you get your podcasts.
People In This Podcast Episode Talking About The Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser
I grew up on Star Wars. Star Wars has helped shape me into the person I am today. So when I got the opportunity to chat with Doug Chiang, Matt Martin, Greg Ashton and Travis Finstein I was beyond excited. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Ann Morrow, who is the Executive Producer and Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering. Other interview in this are part of the Walt Disney Imagineering team and photo team.
I will be sharing more stories, photos and videos during my time on the Halcyon Starcruiser. From Lightsaber Training to the food to the adventures you will go on while you are in the Star Wars universe. Feel free to reach out via email or put your questions in the comment section you may have in regards to the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser.
Please note: Disney World hosted me to check out the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Adventure. My thoughts are my own.
