While you are celebrating your Irish heritage or saying you are Irish for one day, I wanted to share some sneakers that would go well with your St. Patrick’s Day outfit. No matter if you are a fan of Nike, adidas, Converse or New Balance here are some gold and green shoes that you can rock. If you have any other ideas for sneakers that will go well on St. Patrick’s Day leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
Nike & Jordan St. Patrick’s Day Shoes
Nike made St. Patrick’s Day themed Air Force 1 and Air Max 90 shoes. The Air Max 90 St. Patrick’s Day is built with a white mesh base, overlaid by Pine Green leather and sporting a shamrock-embossed mudguard. Mean Green accents emerge on the lower TPU eyelets and Air Max badges, matched underfoot by the Air window that reveals the signature cushioning system. The Air Force 1 Low St. Patrick’s Day is built with leather, the shoe’s upper sports a white base, overlaid by a mix of Pine Green and Mean Green, with debossed clovers on the quarter panel and heel. The aglets and lace deubré instead highlight the look in metallic gold,
The Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Pine Green’ combines updated materials with OG color blocking. The upper’s traditional leather construction is replaced with textured nubuck. Pops of green appear on the perforated leather collar, molded eyelets and embroidered Jumpman branding on the tongue. The 3’s classic elephant print arrives on the forefoot and heel overlays, with a second Jumpman icon displayed on the molded heel tab.
Converse, adidas & New Balance
Burn Rubber from Detroit teamed up with New Balance on their argyle-lined MT580 in 2010. Since then their string of collaborations with the New Balance label have continued to express indigenous colors and graphics from their hometown. Their partnership brings together the New Balance 572 with Vernors ginger ale soft drink. This colorway is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. The Star Wars x adidas NMD_R1 ‘Yoda’ brings the iconic Jedi Master in shoe form. This edition has a sports green Primeknit accented with matching Three-Stripes and a neon pull tab. Cinematic highlights include a tongue graphic and the character’s signature credo across the heel.
The Art of a Champion’ series added the Converse Fastbreak Hi ‘No Easy Buckets.’ It takes inspiration from the Boston Celtics’ Kevin McHale, who famously laid out LA’s Kurt Rambis in the 1984 NBA Finals. The retro high-top features a green and white color scheme on the leather and nylon upper, adorned with nods to the ’84 series on the lace jewel and interior tongue. When you add the Boston Celtics mascot and a green colorway shoe, it makes for a great St. Patrick’s Day shoe.
