The Mystery Of Dads Falling Asleep Anywhere And Everywhere

You might have seen the Dad Starter Pack meme floating around the internet. The new dad gets the pack once he tells his friends and family he is going to be a dad. It consists of a pair of dad sneakers, jean shorts, a basic white t-shirt and knee high white athletic socks. Close to that dad meme is the picture of a dad sleeping on a recliner “watching” TV. Being a parent is hard and tiring. When you do have free time it is usually bedtime. If you are looking for a way to have enough energy to tackle each day I have an answer for you. Before I share that answer check out these dads who could use more energy.

Dads Can Fall Asleep Anywhere In The Wild

Of course you will hear a dad talking about how he got up at the crack of dawn and right after that he falls asleep in the recliner. It is understandable that someone can fall asleep in the comforts of their own home. Yet there are many examples of dads taking a nap in the wild! It could be at a mall or the DMV or even at the park. Why are these dads so tired? Why can they fall asleep anywhere? Dads have a lot on their plate. So it is understandable they can nap at the drop of a hat. It can also be what is in their diet. When you put bad food into your body you will get poor results. UCAN along with a good diet can make sure you won’t fall asleep in the most inopportune times. So how does UCAN work you might ask. Here are the benefits of UCAN and how you can have healthy sustainable energy to last throughout each day.

Stay On Top Of Your Dad Game

As I mentioned above it is not just about getting exercise and getting the right amount of sleep. It is also dependent on what you put into your body. You might see high profile athletes use UCAN, but their products are for everyone. When you eat a healthy diet along with UCAN Energy Powders and Energy Bars you can help improve metabolic health. Another benefit is fat oxidation. This means you feel full longer and you will not want to eat bad foods and snacks. By not snacking throughout the day and spikes in your blood sugar, you may see a positive change in both daily energy and body composition. UCAN posts recipes on their social media accounts for different UCAN smoothies or special treats. They are with you each step of the way. The next time you see a fellow dad take a nap in public, help him out with telling him about UCAN. Not only will they not become a meme, but more importantly they will have energy to take on each day!

Please note: I am working with UCAN on a sponsored campaign. I am receiving payment for my work, but my thoughts are my own.

  1. This is so true and hilarious. I fell asleep in a movie theater with my family. They still don’t let me live that down!

  2. We all have been there. I remember as a kid my dad would fall asleep in the family room and the TV is blaring a baseball game. Now as I dad I have “rested” my eyes at a mall bench.

  3. This is one of the realest and funniest articles I read in a while. I took a nap at the beach and woke up to a great sunburn on half of my face. Might have to check out UCAN so that won’t happen again.

  5. This is so true. Dads are just glad to get a quick power nap since we feel so tired. You are right about what you put in your body determines how much energy you have in a day. UCAN seems like it should be in all our pantries.

  6. At age 40 I needed to change my diet. I was getting horrible sleep with all the junk food I was eating. Now since my diet has changed I am feeling better each day. I will check out ucan to add them to my diet.

  7. I found this article after falling asleep halfway through a Minecraft session as a means to defend my rights as a dad. Falling asleep anytime, anyplace should be in the dad bill of rights.
