This week’s for the Dads Doing It Right series I am looking to highlight these dads that are exploring all sides of fatherhood. From books to blogs these dads are sharing their experiences as a dad. In addition, let me know if there are any other dads that you think we should check out. You can leave their name and info in the comment section below.
Eugene Schneeberg – Exploring Fatherhood
Eugene serves as a Senior Fatherhood & Families Specialist at ICF International. He works on a range of projects that work to promote responsible fatherhood and strengthen families. Prior to joining ICF, Eugene served as the Director of the Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Justice. Eugene is a contributing author to The DadTalk Blog. He has written on topics including youth violence prevention and co-parenting. Eugene also writes about children of incarcerated parents, and the importance of spending time with your children. Check out his book, I Never Met My Father: My Journey from Fatherless to Fatherhood.
Paul Sullivan – Company Of Dads
Paul is the founder of The Company of Dads, the first platform dedicated to creating a community for Lead Dads. Its mission is to help Lead Dads feel less isolated and more confident that they have made the correct choice to take on the bulk of the parenting and family duties – or at the very least not embrace stereotypes around who does what at home. Paul lives in Connecticut, with his family that is his wife and their three daughters, three dogs, three cats, and three fish. He received degrees in history from Trinity College and the University of Chicago. Check out Company of Dads here.
Joel Gratcyk – Daddy’s Grounded
Daddy’s Grounded was started by Joel Gratcyk as a way of remembering the personal experiences of fatherhood in all its details, with photos, video and written thought. Beyond writing about his family and views on life, Joel occasionally works with brands and organizations with whom he feels a connection. If he enjoys using their products or supporting their initiatives you can bet he’ll entertain ideas on how to partner with them on his blog or social channels. Check out his work over at his site Daddy’s Grounded.
Jim Joseph – Out & About With Dad
Jim Joseph is the proud father of two children. He has spent the last twenty-plus years raising them, looking after their physical and emotional well-being, and building their confidence to tackle their own lives. While he has written a trilogy of marketing books and is a regular contributor to Entrepreneur and Huffington Post, it’s his newest book and corresponding blog posts that represent what’s most important to him: being an Out and About Dad.
So kind of you!
Thanks for the mention!
