About Dee Brown
Dee Brown played 14 years in the NBA after being drafted in the first round by the Boston Celtics. He made the NBA All-Rookie team after averaging 8.7 points and 4.2 assists per game, and despite being 6-foot-1, won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. He played for Boston, Toronto and Orlando and finished with career averages of 11.1 points and 3.7 assists. Brown began his coaching career in the WNBA with the Orlando Miracle, and then for the San Antonio Silver Stars. He later served as an assistant coach with Detroit and Sacramento in the NBA and most recently was the general manager for the Los Angeles Clippers NBA G League team.
