These websites share stories, knowledge and more to help new dads prepare for their child that is on the way. Steven Kennedy – Prepare Foundation
The Perinatal Relationship Education and Paternal Advocacy, Research and Engagement Foundation is there to help dads. It is created to encourage prospective fathers to engage in pregnancy, birth and early parenting. They help fathers engage in family life from the moment they hear the news of their impending fatherhood. Research indicates the active engagement of fathers during pregnancy and birth leads to a wide range of health benefits for families. They inspire awareness among men of the crucial role their focussed involvement during the perinatal period has on the growth and development of their children.
Han-Son Lee – Living That DaddiLife
Han-Son Lee is the founder of DaddiLife. Lee and his crew wanted to make the moments of joy more joyful. They wanted the questions other dads had more quickly answered. They did this by providing a series of articles, media and supportive community built specifically for the modern day dad. Han-Son personally led the research programs into the modern day dad called The Dad Index and The Millennial Dad at Work. His work has been profiled in the likes of The Financial Times, Daily Telegraph and Huffington Post.
Al Grimes – Fatherhood Initiative
The Fatherhood Initiative began in Cleveland in 2004 under the leadership of Al Grimes. It became the premier organization of its type in the United States. It seeks to strengthen families in our community by encouraging fathers to play an active role in nurturing and raising their children. The Fatherhood Initiative continues to fund programs to assist fathers in promoting the financial and emotional needs of children. It provides options through programs presented by partners in community based organizations.
The DadPad
The DadPad was developed and piloted by the team at Inspire Cornwall CIC in 2012. They are a Social Enterprise with no shareholders. All of their profits and feedback back into our products for the benefit of the new dads and their families. The DadPad was created because babies don’t come with a set of instructions. Dads told them they wanted important information on what to expect and how to care for their baby. We listened to what dads, their partners and professionals asked for and combined it all in this new DadPad for dads-to-be.
