A new week means a new post for Collector of the Week here at The Art of Fatherhood. As a fellow geek and collector of all things Pop Culture I wanted to showcase some cool collections that dads share in our community. We love to see this passion in what people collect. In addition, we talk about the latest movies, sports memorabilia, a Magic Johnson card collection and video games that we are enjoying at the moment.
This Week’s Collector – Magic Johnson Card Collection
This week’s collector is from Bill. He is sharing his Magic Johnson card collection.
Playing hoops was everything to me when I was growing up. I loved watching college and NBA games too. Magic Johnson was the best for creating jaw dropping plays. He is my favorite player of all time. I started getting back into collecting cards when my sons were asking me to take them to the card store for Pokemon cards. While we were there I saw they had a few old boxes from the 90s and I bought them. I traveled back in time when I was opening those packs. I got a few Magic cards and started to look online for singles instead of buying boxes. Here I the start of my card collection. Maybe I will send more as I get more cards. Lol.
